In the beggining, Scientists were making a new breed of dog for the U.S Army. They escaped to the island, So they may work in peace. When they were done, the simply called it: The Breed.Touriststs came to the island, Whom to see the dogs in action. But, The Dogs.... They were killer. They Killed almost every human there, until the Army had to destroy the city, in an effort to Destroy the breed. They Failed, And some reason, The island was cut off from everything. Nobody can go out. The Breed Still lurks though, Hiding in the ruins of the old city, While the Humans stay in there new settlements...
